The Shiver Me Timbers! contest was hosted across multiple Wattpad Ambassador profiles, each offering a set of prompts with a theme of pirate adventures across history. The duration of the contest was September through November.

I wrote the majority of this anthology during that contest. The challenge was to write 9 stories with a max of 1,000 words each. And at the end of each "Island" there would either be a "curse" to overcome, or a mini challenge.

I believe I passed 5 island prompts before getting stuck. The tail end of the contest happened parallel to NaNoWriMo 2022, which I did not really participate in.

At this time, the anthology remains unfinished and has been temporarily removed from Wattpad. I intend to revisit the stories and rewrite them all to have a more cohesive, connected adventure.
