The Lark Prince

What was originally meant to be bonus content for my novella THE LARK'S PEARL, just a few chapters from a different character's POV, turned into a full-blown companion novella.
I wrote it in two weeks, during a personal challenge in September, 2024.
Read It Here!
The Lark Prince is a magical short story that delves into the heart of Prince Elias of Evæqesta as he uncovers a secret connection to his late mother and gains the unexpected ability to transform into a Lark, the sweetest bird in the kingdom. As Elias embraces his newfound powers, he discovers not only the joys and challenges of living in two worlds—one of royalty and duty, and the other of freedom and love—but also a deeper bond with his father, forged through the shared magic that links them to his mother’s memory.

When he meets a young maiden with luscious, curly hair the deep red of an Ariabella flower, Elias’s heart is captivated. Unsure whether to reveal his true identity, he begins to leave a single pearl at their secret meeting place every day for a year, until the pull of love becomes too strong to ignore.

A bonus story from The Lark’s Pearl, The Lark Prince offers readers a glimpse into Elias’s journey of self-discovery, magic, love, and the healing of a father-son relationship. For the full experience, be sure to read The Lark’s Pearl first, as this tale may contain spoilers from the main story.
